    1 April - Game ON

    Hello fellow polo enthusiasts

I propose another full pitch game on Tuesday April 1

As before, all are welcome and, as before, face guard helmets will be available to those that do not have rolls / really don't want to roll.

Please bung a post on here so I can gauge the interest levels.

     See you there.

Me too... might even put my eyes in this time!

    I never swim!
Sometimes, however, I choose to not "wear" my kayak

As one of the newcomers, and having enormously enjoyed the last game, I'd definitely be up for this.

    Count me in too!
I once read that alcohol is very bad for your health, so I gave it up.

    Reading that is.

polo TONIGHT - set up help required

    Hello all

I will be slightly late tonight due to collecting some boats from Paul's gaff.

Yatesy will be there to set up early, please can anyone who is able to help him do so. It's an easy job but it takes a few people.

NB those that set up do not have to do the packing up; they therefore get to pint earlier.

    Polo Match Report

    Excellent match.

A big improvement over the first game; very little ball chasing, lots of tactical plays. Very good.

We all built up a big sweat and there was some good banter.

Players were: Martin K; Yatesy (aka Lofty); Carter; Kettle; Alex; Emma; Julien 'the machine' G; Phil; Myself and more people but my memory is broken.

However, there was a total lack of beginners and Sea folk (bar Martin K), which was poor.

    Next game 6 MAY

    Re: Polo Match Report

I'd love to have a game, once the coaching settles down a little - I did send a few sailing canoes your way, did they get any goals in?

David, do post up some future dates and I'll stick it in the diary.

    Re: Polo Match Report

I was thinking that a polo match would be good before the AGM as there's not really a lot of time to e.g. go out on the river if we are to be in the pub by 20:30.

Anyone up for a game already coming Tuesday?
