I am planning an open canoeing trip white water in North [wikipedia:Wales]. This is an "improvers" trip and some experience in moving water would be desirable.
Coaching will be provided by Richard Witheridge who did the 3* in open boating for a few of us earlier this year. He is a great coach and we all had a great time in the canoes. I seriously encourage anyone who feels comfortable in an open boat to try white water as it so much more fun and a bit less intimidating that being in a kayak. Ask Luke and Helen who did the previous trip for feedback.
The date is 17/18 October and the cost is £156.80 per person if we get 5 people (this includes boat rental).
So far Luke, Joanna and myself are going so we need 2 more people. There might be some room to change the date if we can't find enough people who can make it on that date.
Post here is you are interested. Transport shouldn't be a problem as boats will be provided and (I am guessing) both Luke and I will be driving.
