    Hi

I am going to rule myself out, unfortunately I have a couple of other things booked that weekend.

    Have a great trip all.

    nickJ:
I can't paddle this Tuesday so need someone else (Martin?) to collect the group shelter, one flare pack, throw line, club VHF (unless you bring your own) and a helmet for me - medium.
I shall bring my own flares, VHF, towline and usual personal kit.

I can do Nick. Btw I will travel down on Thursay night too if anyone wants a lift and can take one extra boat.

    O London, see
Swelling with naval pride, the pride of thee!
Wide, deep, unsullied Thames, meandering glides,
and bears thy wealth on mild majestic tides.

    Re: DORSET 7 & 8 June

My activity car may not be ready by Thurs 5 June.

If that is the case, we will need to convince Martin K to carry 3 boats on his car using Aileen's many J bars ...

But I have taken Friday 6 June off as holiday.

    Re: DORSET 7 & 8 June

    Hi there,

I am definately interested in coming along for the Dorest 7th/8th trip, I am however only 2* so would need a L3 in order to go. That £150 sounds quite reasonable, especially if there are four of us??? Wasn't sure if that was still an option. I have a car and roof rack for two boats  and 2-3 extra people (it's only a three door and would probably struggle with any more!) and a fair amount of my own gear. Do we have enough boats if I was to come?? Sorry if any of these questions seem obvious but this is the first trip I would have been on with the club.

    Andy

PS I would head down Fri night

mine should be arriving tomorrow! if so can do 2 boats (roof rack - assuming I bought the right one - takes 75kg) and me plus 2 people and kit.

have also booked friday off and reserved a boat.

    Re: DORSET 7 & 8 June

    Hi Andy,

I think that because of the lateness of being able to confirm details about the 2-stars arrangements (Roger & Alison away at present) it will probably have to be postponed.
I'd suggest you assemble a groupof about 8-10, name a date and then we'll arrange a Level 3 coach to attend.  If you aim for a group of 10 assuming that 2 might either drop out or have to be on stand-by.  A L3 with suitable experienced support (free from the club) could probably accomodate 8 paddlers.

Don't forget, there is absolutely nothing to stop you organising your own trips and coaching - Isle of Wight Sea Kayaking are likely to be able offer local coaches with local knowledge and competitive rates.

    Re: DORSET 7 & 8 June

    Hi guys,

Sorry we haven't been in touch. We were away on holidays and just got back today.

Unfortunately, we have not been able to secure a vehicle of own own. On top of that, neither of us can take the day off on Friday. As you're all traveling on Thursday night, I think we have to pull out from this one.

    Have a great time!

Thanks for that Nic, will definately try and get something organised. Am heading out with Isle of White sea kayaks next month so hopefully can get the 3* under my belt. Have a great weekend,

    Re: DORSET 7 & 8 June

Thank everyone have fun.                                                                                                                                                                             Andy is the Isle of white trip something I could come along on? I am away at the start of the month on the Greece trip but if it was at the later end and I could make it I would be up for it, I also need my 3* but not sure if I would be at that level to pass but the week away should tell.
