Re: Hurley Logistics (Sat 17th May)

I thought it was a cracking day. Well done to all the new folk. A lot of people took a lot of swims but kept on smiling which is a very, very good thing.

Excellent work crossing the eddy lines from everyone and some really good attempts at getting on the wave.

I look forward to seeing you all back down at Hurley soon.

Carter? Emma? Any dates in mind?

And Carter? Emma? Any dates for these beginner trips to [wikipedia:Wales] July/Aug? To Bala backpackers, perhaps?

Anywhere but Bala Backpackers or Tyn Cornell.   My vote is for Ffynnon Wen Bunkhouse, by far the best bunkhouse....

If we can do another weekend that isn't the 5/6th July it would be great..........if not obviously not a problem......

Leave it with me - I'll get the available dates from the existing and almost level 3 coaches as this is the official cover we need.

Echoing Cliff's sentiments; thanks to all concerned with the Hurley trip.  It was great fun and good to be part of such a supportive group.  As I swam more than anyone [8 in total!] I can attest to the level of safety, support and encouragement.  And it really was great fun trying to get onto the wave, and the concrete step for that matter.

Thanks guys and I look forward to the next trip.

I forgot to mention, a new Hurley move was invented by Richard; as he mentions, he managed to get on to the concrete slab - a move that must surely be worth dubbing the DICKY SPLAT in his honour.
