Re: Starting the New Year off right - in the Cornish surf

I have just reserved a bunkhouse for the 29th Feb to leave on the 2nd March.

To do this am having to pay up front, so......we will either definately go, or take a hit.  My view is that if no surf then we will do a river and the drive will be a little longer.

It is Larry's birthday close to then and Matt's exodus to his fatherland so we should do this anyway as a last trip away for him....maybe even buy him a shandy (he got presents in Scotland too didn't he?).

Before I send off a cheque - can I have a show of support?

Good work Sick Eddie- I'm definitely still in!  Have you got a link to the place?  Did you find out their opinion of people staying up until 4am drinking Red wine?

Here is the link, the rooms at the far back can be for people who want a quiet sleep in case there is any talking in the lounge type area (or need their beauty sleep), they are more contained rooms than open planned, with doors, so wine until 6 in the morning is an option on this one.  Although I'll leave it to others as I need to conserve my paddling abilities for the next day.

    Here is the link:

Basically we can book the whole lot (sleeps 18) for around £33 each with current numbers for both nights.

If you are coming can you let me know please as this may effect me actually sending the cheque off (I think we have about 13/14 defo's).

I'm definitely still up for it, can pay you on Tuesday if you're around.

I'm definately up for this too if there's still space.

Never tried surfing before but I'm well up for giving it a go with/without a coach.
