Introduction to open canoeing course: 19, 26 February and 4 March

I will be running a three week introduction to open canoeing course on the following three consecutive Tuesdays: 19, 26 February and 4 March. The first two sessions will be on The Basin and the third, subject to transport, will be a short trip on the Regent's Canal from Limehouse Basin.

This course is for those working toward their (new) Two Star award and will introduce the skills required and also cover some of the journeying and experience requirements but any assessment will have to be separate.

There are six places available on a first come first served basis but priority will be given to those who do not yet have the Two Star award and those on the waiting list from the last course.

Luke, Might you be running another of these open canoe courses in preparation for the 2* assessment? I and a few others would be interested.

    Cheers,

    Robby

I am trying to finalise transport for tomorrow night's trip on the Regent's Canal and just need to check on numbers. I am assuming that everyone is coming but if anyone can't make it please let me know. Thanks.

Right, transport is sorted - Paul K has kindly agreed to join us with his car.

Let's aim to be at the Basin in good time and aim for a 6:45 departure for the canal.

Re: Introduction to open canoeing course: 19, 26 February and 4 March

    Luke,

Just wanted to say thanks for organising the intro course.  It's been great fun and was topped off nicely with the blast up the canal..

Apologies for dashing off last night, see you all Sunday or next week

    Justin
