    BBQ

Thanks everyone for arranging such a lovely barbeque evening. The only one set back, and it was a huge one, is the fact that we ran out of beer because some goof drove off with it in the back of his car. How is that even possible? I mean, kayaking is only a reason for getting drunk with your mates. This is a proper SCANDAL. I paid several pounds for what? I am so damn alcoholic that I like a beer with my burger.

NB: Disclaimer: To clarify, in case this post sparks another round of debates about something, I am neither drunk, nor very alcoholic.

    Re: BBQ

It was great to see you on Tuesday Mattias.

I was equally shocked when I released the beer had run out!!!!     We will put Larrry in charge of beverages in Austria so this will not happen.  (He may drink it, but he can't drive away with it!).

    Re: BBQ

Matt, contrary to your disclaimer... you are an alcoholic, may I remind you of the Rythm Factory until 6 the next morning incident, when you randomnly woke up in SE London!

    Re: BBQ

You were at the braai? Either this is all a load of bs or I was too busy being enveloped in smoke to notice your presence..

Either way has it been confirmed that Danger drove off with half the booze?

    OK

So, I drove off with 18 Grolsch.

Call it payment for doing the shopping, sorting stuff out, and then not getting to enjoy the Braai proper.

I drank them all in Sainsbury's car park while I looked for my lost glasses.

I found them after can 17.

I was crawling on the ground, as usual, looking for unfinished beer cans.

    Re: BBQ

Sorry to have missed you Matt - were you hiding somewhere with all the beer?  Good of you to come all this way just for the BBQ.

Dave C - I wasn't enveloped in smoke and still managed to miss the little Swede.

I hope the fiver that I haven't paid yet for the one burger and half a cup of wine is going to a good cause!
