    Hey Sarah

There is no need to worry. Each group of 6 has a broad range of experience, from quite a bit, to a tad, to almost none. Also, I think we'll be running the Lower which is a very gentle introduction to white water.

    Hi

This trip is now full (to the rafters!)  If anyone has changed their mind and can no longer make it, please let me know asap so I can inform the campsite of final numbers.

    Cheers

Re: White Water Trip 8th-10th August

    ok here's the deal

there will be a beginners trip , lead by mark goldstone, ably assisted by myself, helen, geoff and neil - the people in this group are : Keir, Myles, Susie *2, cliff, richard, sarah, dan and andy

I am expecting we will run one trip on the lower on the saturday and then again onthe sunday. If there is no water release then there maybe a problem as in august there is unlikley to be much other water around !

Please note the beginners will be expected to pay for marks expenses ( not beer!)

the others: Danger, tom, emma, larry, biltong, kate, yatsey, ian, joanna, anne and dimitris will need to think about what they want to do.

Those who want to go it alone can do so, those who want to hire a coach can do so. I am trying to find out about other level 3 coaches in north [wikipedia:wales] who might not be too expensive and would be prepared to take a group on the lower. Please let me know if you want a coach so i can gauge numbers

Re: White Water Trip 8th-10th August

OK, so things are progressing, Yatsey, dave, dave and larry do not require a coach and will be looking after themselves, they recognise that this is their choice and that they are not formally part of the THCC trip.

I need to hear from Ian, Joanna, Anne and Demetris - whether you guys require a coach so i can look into cost etc

thanks guys - this is going to be a great weekend

Tom and I don't need a coach either and we will go separately from the THCC trip. We may still talk to you though. Smile

    Hi

Does anyone have space for Dan, me and our boats?

If not is there anyone else without transport (either for them or their boats) who would like to share in the hiring of a van (but not one of the monstrous proportions taken to HPP last year).

I also have not sorted transport yet, and happy to rent a car with you if not enough cars are going.

Sweet, I should be back next Tuesday at the club so maybe we should start working it out then... I am sure there will be quite a few people who are going to need to coordinate transport.

Re: White Water Trip 8th-10th August - Travel

I am renting a van.  The 3 people travelling in the van are Dan, Ian and myself.  Our boats and kit will also be in the van.

As it is a transit we may be able to take additional boats  - please talk to me if you think you have no way of getting your kit there.  Assuming that the van will take your stuff if you have found no other way of getting it there may lead to disappointment or swimming down the river without a boat.

Does anyone know how many boats fit in the back of a transit?

Re: White Water Trip 8th-10th August

I thought I was getting a lift with Mark and that someone had spelled my name incorrently, but on closer inspection I see that Yatesy is in that car so I'm now assuming it's Super Susie who's  going with Mark.

So I'm still looking for a lift - Anne if you're renting a car a lift would be great.

If anyone was already planning to give me a lift can they let me know!.  Here's some bribary - I always prepare a selection of homemade cakes and sandwiches for all drivers and passengers I travel to kayak trips with (Yolanda can vouch for my blueberry muffins).

     Thanks to all for organising!

    Susi

Re: White Water Trip 8th-10th August

Is there a list of who's driving with whom so I don;'t need to bother all the drivers with already full cars?
