Adventure weekend in Isle of Man - 14-18 August

    Adventure weekend in Isle of Man - 14-18 August

    Hi All,

    The master plan is to rent a car, leave on Thursday evening and catch the 21.15 ferry to Isle of Man from Liverpol - coming back Monday evening.

    Dates: 14-18 August.

    It is for all levels of advancements - and also with the option of climbing and coasteering!

    We already have 8 pple and thinking of having no more than 12 to fit all in one car.

    Let me know if you are up for that and I will reserve a place. It does look like a great fun :)

    Bear in mind that this implies taking Mon and Friday off - and a bit shorter day on Thursday (leaving work probably around 3pm to have enough time to catch the last ferry) 

    The total cost (car, ferry, petrol and symposium cost) should be between 150 - 200£ - depending on number of ppl.

    I have just booked myself onto the 4 star training Thursday and Friday, so I will be going 1 day earlier. They claim it's easy to get there with train to Liverpool, ferry over, they are 20 minutes from the ferry terminal (not specified means of transport, taxi or foot.)

    They are doing a 4 star assessment the same 2 days, if anyone is ready for that - the award requires 2 days of logged formal training for it, effectively an organised 4 star course, though, before you can do an assessment...

    Are we planning to paddle the Monday as well, so I should pay for boat hire on Monday?
