Anyone fancy a re-run of the sucessful paddle ealier in the year?
The plan would be to paddle up to Vauxhall bridge, get out at the Duck Bus ramp, grab lunch at the cafe, and to head back once the tide has turned. We estimated 2 hours each way last time and we ended up paddling further up to battersea powerstation and back to Vauxhall bridge against the remaining tide.
The 27th September isn't a spring tide but the turn is at 1pm so perfect for a trip
Suggested times are meet at 10am to be on the water at 11am. 2 hours trip to arrive at vauxhall at 1pm. 2 hours of lunch, witty banter and embarrising stories about Sean's driving, then back on the water 3pm to catch the goodly bit of the tide back - the tide should be at its highest flow between 4 and 5 making our last bit easy.
Fancy it? 3*s sign right up. 2*s are welcome - you need the right level of experiance (its more than twice ther usual tuesday night paddles - chat to me) and we have the right numbers/mix of people. (Std river rules will apply)
