DW 2007 - done and dusted

    We did it !!

Mattew and I crossed Westminster Bridge as Big Ben was ringing 11h00, 23 hours 14 minutes after starting from Devizes.

Without a support crew, a DW paddler is reduced to a begging wretch after only 15 miles. So I would like to express my thanks to Sarah, Dan (who were there for waterside D), Tony (who followed us all the way), Luke and Phil (who did a brillant as night and day support).

    Julien

I'll second Julien's THANKYOU to the support crew - Sarah & Dan, Phil, Tony and Luke. wave

After months of training it feels great to have actually completed our goal!

What I want to know is, who from the club is going to sign up to do this next year?! (it doesn't hurt, honest!)Wink

As for next year..... wait and see.

I once read that alcohol is very bad for your health, so I gave it up.

    Reading that is.

Steady on Pete.... Although it would be interesting, plus I think I could just coast along and let you do the hard work I am not much weight in the back and I could keep yuo amused for hours with my drunken banter!
