    basic first aid course

I'm planning to do a basic first aid course (1 day most likely) in the next month, to allow my to get ready for the L2 training. Is anyone interested in joining me?

    Hello mate

Not sure how much will be covered on the safety and rescue course I'm on this weekend. If it's not much, I would like to join you.

(have you got tickets for the next Carter gig?)

If it's on a weekend I could be persuaded.

I am a possible but it would depend on when (tuesday eve or a weekend) and the cost being very reasionable.

    Re: basic first aid course

I've taken a look and the Red Cross run a few 1 day courses in london at 60 quid a head. (St Johns do a 6 hour one for £65 - though there ones look full for thew next 2  months). If we have 10-12 people we could probably get one run for ourselves, but we don't have anything like that number so far

Is 60 quid good for people What weekends are people free and I'll found out what they have available

    Re: basic first aid course

    £60 is good.

I have hardly any free weekends ahead, mainly due to this hobby, so I'll just fit in if I can.

     Cheers Dan

    Re: basic first aid course

I'm a bit late here but I do need to update my 1st aid cert (need an 8 hour course). Weekends don't really suit me very well but if we end up bringing in someone to run a course I would like to take part if it is on week day evenings.

    Re: basic first aid course

Luke - as Jon mentioned he has sent me a bit of detail and options open as a couple of us a are looking to do the 8 hour ASAP.

It just happens that this post is happening also - what I can do is see what is best for all and where possible group together for a cost saving.

Let me know what restrictions people have as I will be doing this course regardless of cost etc due to the need for me to complete ASAP.

    Cheers.

    Re: basic first aid course

I would also be interested in a first aid course. Don't mind if it's weekdays or weekends.
