Tower Hamlets Canoe Club

On 8 April I would like to take the current beginners group to the pool.  If numbers allow I will also be happy to take folk who have not been to the pool before.  Intended stuff to so is taking a first look at rescues and braces so that these can be practised with confidence on the basin.

If you are in the current beginners group and would like to come please let me know by this forum as I may not be with the group this Tuesday and instead be playing around in open canoes as they are short of coaches.

Please, please let me have my session in the warm water.

Sorry sarah only just seen this, yes i'll definately be coming tonight for the pool session....after last week's rather icy dunking in the basin i think we're all looking forward to a bit of warm water paddling!

grab yourself a spray deck and a paddle  - your choice as to whether you take a bouyancy aid as they are not compulsary in the pool.  We will leave as soon as everyone is there or 7pm whichever the latest as we need to get back for the AGM. 

Changing will happen at the pool.

 When getting changed you need to shower/wash your spray deck and paddle before getting into the pool as its a proper indoor job with people swimming in it who do not want our river mankiness
