Spare place at WWSR/Aquatic First Aid course

Message from Phil at Battersea Canoe Club

Dave and Owen are running a White Water Safety and Rescue (new syllabus) plus Aquatic First Aid course for us on the weekend of the 30th May – 1st June on the Tryweryn – and somebody has dropped out so we have a spare place. It will be a very intensive weekend but you get two qualifications out of it.

Do you think anyone from THCC would be interested?  The weekend would cost £160.69 which covers course fees, hire of Tryweryn and accommodation.  There would be some small additional costs for food and of course petrol.  We have people leaving London on Friday night – or if somebody wants to leave early some are heading up earlier to get a paddle on the Tryweryn in the afternoon.  We can make boat and kit available for a small hire charge.

Let me know if anyone is interested.

I can forward any messages ...
