I'll be on my hols in Cork for a couple of weeks either side of the weekend of 9/10 August and will be taking my sea kayak. If anyone is interested in doing a trip over that weekend or during the week before/after let me know and perhaps we can put something together.
There is a nearby sea kayak outfitter who I have used in the past, H2O Sea Kayaking, and while I suspect they won't be able to hire boats we could always do a guided trip with them. We have my in-laws' holiday house for the week and there is some space to put people up if its not to big a group (and plenty of room for tents if its a bigger group).
Ryanair currently have flights from Stansted to Cork from £27 return inc tax for that weekend and Aer Lingus from about £100 from Heathrow. We are near the airport and I can do pick/ups drop offs.
