Matt, can we talk to them (I know I can but perhaps officially) about running 2 star rather than introduction to...

I think they would get a better response.

I think the introduction is pretty much the 2 star but without the trips.  Perhaps we could run a trip on the canal then do this with them & get people signed off?

Would do peolpe think?

I had assumed that their intro course would lead to 2 star but we can of course also run a canal trip. It will be good portage practice!

I have done the 1 day introductory course a while ago but would be interested in doing a 2 star course with them, even if this ended up being longer than 1 day.
