The master plan is to rent a car, leave on Thursday evening and catch the 21.15 ferry to Isle of Man from Liverpol - coming back Monday evening.

Sorry for the very late notice! Steve, Malcolm and Charlie have let me know they would like to help me with the instruction for this course, but it is not easy finding dates that everyone can do.

I have drafted a couple of sheets for people using the radios who haven't been on the course. They give an idea of how to make routine calls to London VTS and how to make a Mayday distress call. I’m planning to run a class room session on tidal planning and navigation next Tuesday, 15 January (sorry about the short notice).
It will be two hours on the stuff included in the new 3 star sea award and should give you a good start if you are planning to get the assessment done in the next month or two.
