This is excellent follow on material from a beginners course and an all round introduction to water safety. Copies can be ordered via the RNLI web site.

Sea Safety

This covers many aspects of sea safety relevant to canoeing and kayaking. The booklet includes a CD-rom which runs on Windows PCs and Macs which has very useful pictures, videos, demonstrations and interactive exercises on the collision regulations, lights at sea, flares, emergency procedures and much more. This is an excellent resource for someone progressing beyond BCU 2 Star.

  • Printed copies can be ordered from the RNLI web site (Select the tick box for The Complete Guide.)
  • The CDrom material is also available on line.
  • We keep copies in the club office.
