Coach is responsible for ensuring that all members of the group have appropriate skills for the intended activity and environment.

It is strongly advised that group includes a helper of minimal standard of 3*

1 x 4* Sea : 6 x paddlers

Leader is responsible for ensuring that all members of the group have appropriate skills for the intended activity and environment.

BC Coach (Advance Water)

Minimum Leader:

Advance Water Leader

Uncoached / unled groups taking place on same trip as coached or led groups Uncoached/Unled group

In Sheltered to Moderate Water (as specified by BC)

minimum: 3 x 3* Sea

Group must include 1 x Co-ordinator + 1 x VHF operator Recommended maximum group size: 6

In Advance Water (as specified by BC) Not Applicable. Uncoached/Unled groups within a Club Trip should not take place in Advanced Water conditions
