RNLI

The RNLI has a wide range of safety resources that are of use to Canoeists and Kayakers.

For Beginners the Serious Fun DVD is an excellent introduction to water safety. This is excellent follow on material from a beginners course and an all round introduction to water safety. It also has its own web site where you can get a copy http://www.rnli.org.uk/seriousfun

PLA

The Port of London Authority and the BCU have produced a poster sumarising advise for Canoe and Kayak users of the tidal River Thames.

The PLA also have much useful information on the use of the Thames
