This section contains a growing collection of links to safety for watersports.
RNLI resources
The RNLI has a wide range of safety resources that are of use to Canoists and Kayakers. They can be accessed here [1]. The Sea Safety booklet is very good and covers many aspects of sea safety relevent to Canoe and Kayak use of the sea and tidal waters. Copies are avaliable from the club office or can be downloaded from the RNLI site or accessed on line (here [2])
PLA resources
The Port of London Authority and The BCU have produced a poster sumarising advise for Canoe and Kayak users of the tidal River Thames. This can be viewed here [3].
The PLA also have much useful information on the use of the Thames on their website (see [4].
