The THCC forums

While the wiki is designed to offer pages of information, the forums allow discussions.

The public forums are visible to everyone although only club members or known "friends" may post topics and replies.

Further forums are private to THCC club members and you need to be a club member to see these or to post topics and replies.

Forum accounts

Without a forum account, you may only see the wiki and see the public forums.

Start by requesting a forum account. You will be asked for some basic information about yourself and especially a valid e-mail address.

If you had an account on the old THCC web site, please choose the same account name for the new web site. (If your old account name had spaces, then you will have to do without the spaces for the new web site. No spaces - just letters and numbers. Sorry.) Club members should be sure to fill in the field asking for a membership number.

The system will then send you an e-mail. Follow the instructions in the e-mail to have your account confirmed.

As a forum user, your account name will be displayed in gray. Shortly afterward, an overworked webmaster should see the new account and will try to identify who you are. So far, you may only see the wiki and see the public forums.

If you are not a club member, your account may be set to "THCC friend". As a THCC Friend, your account name will be displayed in green and you may see and now post in the public forums.

If you are a THCC club member, and have a current membership number, your account will be set to "THCC member". As a club member, your account name will be displayed in blue, you may see and post in the public forums, you may see and post in the private forums and you are allowed to edit pages in the wiki.

If you are also a THCC committee member, your account name will be displayed in red.
