Mike Thomas' Farewell Flotilla and Party - 5 October 2013

Members of THCC got together with the Sailing Club, the Basin's youth club, staff and friends of the basin to see Mike Thomas off in fine style.

The club and the youth group paddled against the tide past Greenwich to Amsterdam Beach to meet up with Mike and the other craft. A mixed group of sea kayaks, sailing boats, support boats and a rowing skerry then moved down the river with the tide, bringing Mike to the basin for a send off party that ran through afternoon activities into the evening.
