If you are on a trip but you want to 'drop out' you can do this with the 'Leave Trip' button. However, if you are down as a car driver or group leader, you will need to relinquish these responsibilities before being able to leave the trip.
If you are a car driver:
- Let the trip organiser know you are dropping out
 - Ask your passengers to remove themselves and their boats from your car.
 - Remove your own boat from your car
 - Remove your car
 - You should now be able to see and click the 'Leave Trip' button

If you are leading a group:
- Let the trip organiser know you are dropping out
 - Switch to not leading a group
 - You should now be able to see and click the 'Leave Trip' button
