The Sea Safety booklet is also excellent and covers many aspects of sea safety relevant to Canoe and Kayak use of the sea and tidal waters.  The booklet includes a CD-rom which runs on Windows PCs and Macs which has very useful pictures, videos, demonstrations and interactive exercises on the collision regulations, lights at sea, flares, emergency procedures and much more.  This is an excellent resource for someone progressing beyond BCU 2 star.
