Club equipment

The club owns a wide range of equipment and also has access to equipment that belongs to SBOAC.

  • About 37 river boats, including a two-person Topo
  • (Access to about 40 SBOAC boats suitable for learning on the basin)
  • Two two-person racing kayaks
• Sea Boats
  • About 17 sea kayaks
  • (Access to several SBAOC sea kayaks)
  • Two surf boats
  • Seven polo boats
• Open Boats
  • (Access to 10 SBOAC open boats)
• Paddles
  • About 50 kayak paddles, including
    • Several left handed kayaking and touring paddles
    • Two sets of splits
  • (Access to about 40 assorted SBOAC paddles)
• Helmets
  • About 30 helmets in a range of sizes
    • Some with face guards for polo

The club does not provide wetsuits or shoes.
